I will be living in Malta (an old friend of many years), Hungary on a Fulbright in the fall, and the Netherlands as a visiting researcher. While I've visited Hungary and lived a few weeks in the Netherlands, this coming year will be longer experiences. So, come here and see the pictures. I'll have comments on what I've puzzled over, my struggle (I assume) with learning enough Hungarian to get by, and world affairs.The photo is of an old dock in Marquette, MI, taken on May 4, 2014, a bit before I left for Malta. We had a very tough Lake Superior winter--the white on the horizon is frozen lake!
